It is the aim of Invictus Football Club to develop young people who are not only great athletes, but outstanding individuals. The participants of the Invictus Football Club program are expected to be exemplary in all aspects of life, including but not limited to their quality of play on the field and their behavior both on and off the field. When parents allow their children to partake in our program, they should expect to see improvements in their child’s confidence, decision making, technical skills, integrity, and overall character. Though this program is young, we will strive to be better and achieve more each year. The ultimate goal of our program is to become a perennial powerhouse that competes annually for state, regional, and national honors and to produce athletes that are capable of playing soccer on the collegiate and professional levels. In order for these things to occur, there has to be buy-in from all the coaches, players, and parents alike. We
will be challenging one another and holding each other to the standards that have been set. There will be weekly team meetings to discuss individual and team progress with relation to the goals that were previously set. We will also cultivate a culture where all coaches and players can respectfully call each other out when they are not living up to the standards. It is our expectation that the qualities of leadership will be shown from all parties, not just coaches and team captains, but the chain of command will flow from coaches - captains - players.
